Getting Ready for your Wedding at The White Hart
The White Hart has seventeen boutique rooms including a prestige honeymoon suite.
An ideal way to keep your nearest and dearest wedding guests right in the centre of all the excitement and importantly lots of space for you to hang dresses, suites and get ready on the big day.
The on site rooms make for great bridal or groom prep photographs with lots of flattering natural light, big mirrors and rustic furniture to serve as aesthetically pleasing backdrops.
It certainly takes away a lot of the stress too, no need to worry about traffic or arriving to the venue late as you are all on site and ready to go!

Getting Married at The White Hart Wedding Venue
The White Hart Inn is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and your civil marriage ceremony will be held in our specially designed function room. The room can comfortably hold up to 80 guests for your ceremony and again with our flexibility we can discuss accommodating more guests if needed.
There are two options for your ceremony and both make for beautiful wedding photographs, either the Orangery or the Moorwood Suite.
The Moorwood Suite is clean, modern and a refined canvas to style both your dream ceremony and wedding reception. Chic and elegant or contemporary and rustic – the clean modern room is there to transform and tell your own story.
The Orangery is stunning and with the glass roof features and big windows it provides a light and unique space to say ‘I Do’ which is just a dream for wedding photography. Available for ceremonies of up to 70 guests The Orangery takes advantage of the beautiful surroundings with views out into the venues grounds.
Falling flowers from the skylights, floral arches, rustic lanterns, even painted pineapples… I have seen so many ways that couples have beautifully styled The Orangery and I love capturing all those little details you have both put so much time and effort into arranging.
A White Hart Reception After Your Church Wedding
The White Hart is also the perfect venue for a reception after a church wedding, right in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside its within close travelling distance of many beautiful churches.
Its the perfect place to relax and get ready on the morning of your wedding day before returning to the venue for a drinks reception, wedding breakfast and relaxed photographs in the beautiful grounds. Danni and Jason were married at the gorgeous Ashover Parish Church, just ten minutes away from Moorwood Moor.
Exploring the Grounds at The White Hart - A Beautiful Countryside Wedding Venue
The grounds of the White Hart are absolutely stunning, surrounded by the Derbyshire countryside with rolling hills to the rear and picturesque fields of corn, cattle or wildflowers either side depending on the time of year.
I love to take lots of candid shots of you and your guests enjoying the day, theres so much space for big group photographs and we can even put the drone up for some creative shots.
There is a lovely little lane out front that makes for great portraits of just the two of you, some classic old red telephone boxes and even a gorgeous little pond all within a short stroll.
In the summer you get gorgeous golden hour sunsets behind the trees on the back lawn and in the winter you get lots of dramatic clouds in the sky which makes for some really unique photographs.
